Monthly Chamber Newsletter, Berea Community Profile,
Club and Organization guides, and detailed city maps are
some of the items offered by the Chamber to promote its
members.
Professional Development
Seminars on marketing, human resources, taxes, finances,
government regulations and other topics are offered on a
regular basis. Most of our guest speakers focus on
the small business interest.
The Chamber Staff
The office staff and volunteers are always willing to
assist you with your questions concerning business
issues, economic development, technology, community
development and any other information you need to help
your business grow.
Referrals
When a call comes in to the Chamber office, or someone
visits, we refer ONLY Chamber members for goods
and services. We also help newcomers with
relocation information about Chamber members.
Leadership
The Chamber of Commerce is the catalyst for business
leadership in Berea. In cooperation with the
Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the Leadership Madison
County program educates and trains present and future
leaders in Madison County. Most of the city's
active leaders have either served or are involved with
the Chamber Board of Directors. The many committee
opportunities include the Christmas Parade, Spoonbread
Festival, Awards Banquet, Old Town Renaissance
Association, Berea Merchants Association and Artisans
Sub-Committee.
Regional Cooperation
The Berea Chamber of Commerce is involved in many
regional organizations and other Chambers in Kentucky
which give value to our members.
Artisans Advocacy
Berea is the "Folk Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky,"
and the Chamber speaks with a strong and credible voice
for its artisan community. The Artisans
Sub-Committee has been very successful in giving our
local artisans an opportunity to voice their concerns
and collaborate on marketing ideas and events. The
Chamber has an annual recognition of the Artisan and
Patron of the Year with the Frost Awards.
Networking
You will find opportunities to meet new customers and
business contacts every month through the Chamber's
monthly luncheons, roundtables, committee meetings and
social events.
Berea Community Profile
Your listing in the Berea Community Profile is viewed by
thousands of people and businesses. All Chamber
members receive a free listing in the Directory and a
complimentary copy of the publication.

The Chamber web page promotes the businesses of its
members. Each member's listing is free and, if the
member has a web page, it can be linked to this listing.
The Chamber also provides a number of endorsed web page
and e-commerce solutions for its members.
Brochure Distribution
The Chamber office distributes brochures, business
cards, flyers and catalogues about any Chamber member
that provides copies.

products and services. It is available on labels
and disc.
