some progress on a permanent home for the Chamber. Thank you to the Board for their great attendance at the retreat.

 

Our Valentines Dance is coming up on February 16. I hope everyone will turn out for this special evening.  Thank you to the Dance Committee for their hard work on getting ready for the dance.

 

A special thank you to Linda Burdine and Greg Powell for their work to make 2007 a success, and to David, Carmel and Carol for all of their help. Also, thank you to our Membership Committee for their membership survey. Thanks to the Public Affairs and Government Relations Committee for their public affairs poll. And a thank you to the City of Berea for our participation in the monthly meeting with the department heads and staff.

Our 2008 Board of Directors had our retreat on January 10 at the Artisan Center to set our course for 2008.  The goals I set out for the Chamber are: 1) to help our Executive Director be out and about with Chamber members as well as prospective members; 2) to improve our relationship with the City of Berea; 3) to reach out to the Richmond and Rockcastle Chambers, as well as, to EKU as it reaches out to the community; and 4) to make
